In fact, the Taurus is different from the weapons supplied by the French and British. All three systems – the German Taurus, the French SCALP and the almost identical British Storm Shadow – are cruise missiles that are launched from aircraft. But according to the manufacturer MBDA, the range differs quite significantly: While the models supplied can cover more than 250 kilometers, the Taurus can cover more than 500 – which puts Moscow within its range from the border with Ukraine.
