Katopodis specified that currently andthe Ministry of Public Works has 193 works and projects with an iInvestment of $94,938 in the 4 provinces and in the local governments that make up the Vaca Muerta region.

Katopodis passed through Neuquén: the minister reviewed road works in Neuquén and Río Negro


Katopodis recalled the completion of the third bridge and access to RN 151 and Variant of Route 22; maintenance on the same route, between Chelforo and General Roca. In Río Negro, the works on Route 22 between the access to Chichinales and Godoy were completed; and the paving of the Secondary Road of the new National Route 188, in the General Alvear – Malargüe section; in addition to resurfacing and maintenance works in the National Routes 40, 231 and 237.

In the same vein, he reviewed that in Río Negro is building the Highway of Route 22 between Chichinales and Cipolletti; the expansion of capacity between Plottier-Arroyito; and the improved conservation of RN 151, at the junction of RN 22 and Cnia. Meanwhile, in La Pampa, maintenance is being carried out on RN 151, on the border of Río Negro and RP 14; and the maintenance of RP 20 in sections 1, 2 and 3; and in Neuquén, the expansion of capacity in the RP 7 and 51, in the North Access to Neuquén.

In Río Negro, he highlighted the new variant for passing traffic and the works in section III and IV of the Route 22 highway; the construction of the highway on the same route between Arroyito and Cutral Có; and the rehabilitation of Route 151 between the access to Neuquén and the border with La Pampa.

Likewise, in La Pampa, the reconstruction of Route 152 will be carried out, between El Carancho – Puelches and Provincial Route 20 in Cacharramendi.

Katopodis highlighted that the Vaca Muerta region presents several challenges in terms of works for guarantee hydrocarbon production, conduct investments and anticipate their impacts on the territory.
