The ex-president Mauricio Macri and the owner of PRO, Patricia Bullrichheld a meeting last weekend at the home of the former in the Patagonia. It was loaded with electoral dye. Well, Bullrich is already highly scored in an eventual Primary election (STEP), while Macri has not yet decided. After the meeting, it was the former Minister of Security who stepped on the bottom by stating: “We are the change or we are nothing.”
“Thank you @MauricioMacri and Juliana (Awada) for receiving us these days. I appreciate the warmth and clarity of ideas. We are going to put Argentina on the right path. We are the change or we are nothing, ”Bullrich said on his Twitter account and uploaded a photo of the summit. The opponent spent a few days at the former president’s residence in Villa La Angostura, Neuquenalong with her husband, Guillermo Yanco, who also appears in the released photo.
However, Macri also referred to the meeting on his Instagram social network account: “We met Patricia in the south. We talked with concern regarding the general situation of the country, both what is happening from the decisions of the Government and the consequences that the decisions that are not being made will have in the immediate future”, evaluated the opposition leader.
“In this sense, we agree that very deep and courageous changes will be needed. I am convinced that the leaders who will have this task will emerge from frank competition, as has always happened in PRO”, added the current head of the FIFA Foundation. In this way, he referred to the possible inmate that will be in that space, for the moment between Bullrich and the current head of the Buenos Aires Government, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta.
Will Mauricio Macri lean towards one or the other?
Although his participation in the elections is still unknown, it is also not clear who Macri will favor if he decides not to run. Rodríguez Larreta had already seen Macri weeks ago in the country of Cumelén, but he did not stay at the house, but rented a house in that same closed neighborhood to be with his partner Milagros Maylin.
Meanwhile, Bullrich had commented in a television interview that with Macri he talked regarding “the future of Argentina.” He also referred to the upcoming electoral campaign: “Before they accused us of not being totally explicit regarding how the problems were in the country, but now we want to be explicit,” said the former Security Minister, who is very enthusiastic regarding the next electoral process.
