Political analyst Qassem Kassir considered that “the Lebanese forces can nominate the head of the Marada Movement, Suleiman Franjieh, for the presidency of the republic in the event that a settlement takes place and Saudi Arabia is part of it.”
In an interview via “Spot Shot”, within the “Point of View” program, Kassir said: “The forces will justify to their fans that they chose Franjieh’s choice out of interest in Lebanon.”
And he continued, “How did President Bashir Gemayel succeed in becoming president of Lebanon? His speech was Lebanese, not forceful.”
And he added, “Unlike Dr. Samir Geagea, his surplus power pushes him to show off.”
Qassem Kassir concluded: “There is a defect between Geagea and his work team, as the latter works to distance him from seeing reality.”
