Dr. Sherif Mokhtar, a professor of cardiology and a pioneer in critical care medicine, said that some patients complain of prickling in the heart somewhat similar to needle pricks, adding that this is due to the presence of some muscular or rheumatic pain.

Mokhtar explained, during a live broadcast with the “Consulto” website, that the muscular or rheumatic pains that cause heart attacks, start from some weather changes.
The professor of cardiology added that there is a relationship between chest tingling and digestive problems, as the signals between the digestive system and the chest are transmitted through a common nerve between them that feeds both of them, and therefore when a problem occurs in one area, it affects the other.
