In a conversation with MC Nguyen Khang, singer Thu Phuong shared the reason for not holding a wedding ceremony with Dung Taylor for more than 10 years of marriage. The singer said that on December 12, 2012, Dung Taylor proposed to her. Since then, the spouse has persistently persuaded the singer to hold the wedding.
“Every day, Mr. Dung asks me ‘So have you decided to marry me today?’. I feel very happy every day when he asks me. I become small, feeling like I’m just a lover. After that, he was angry with me. I also thought once more because I felt it was unfair to him,” the singer recounted.
However, Thu Phuong said she has not yet held a wedding ceremony with Dung Taylor for both objective and subjective reasons.
Thu Phuong shared her reason for not holding a wedding following 10 years of living with Dung Taylor.
“The wedding must be brilliant, the moment everyone waits for, to be happy and without any problems to be complete. As for me, every time I reach the threshold of happiness, tomorrow there will be something related to family, parents, and children.” What makes me tired, I have to solve it. Happiness has to stop. And it’s been languishing like that for more than 10 years. There were times when I thought I would give up,” the singer shared.
Sharing regarding Dung Taylor, the singer said she was lucky to have her husband accompany her, take care of her children and support her on her artistic path.
Previously, in May 2023, overseas manager Dung Taylor confirmed that the two had registered their marriage in the US following more than 10 years of marriage.
“After many years of living together, getting to know each other, contributing to cooking together, today Dung Taylor and Thu Phuong officially belong to each other. I proposed to her on December 12, 2012, but she only agreed today. officially become my wife. Over the past 10 years, I had to go through many of her challenges to accept her invitation. Engagement in American culture is a promise, marriage is an oath,” he shared.
The singer and his wife planned to hold a wedding in Hai Phong at the end of December 2023, but had to postpone the date because Thu Phuong participated in filming the show Beautiful Girl.
Dung Taylor and Thu Phuong have been together for more than 10 years. They have two children together, Gia Bao and Thanh Thuy.
