WhatsApp has introduced a new interesting feature that will help in video playback.
New video playback controls have been added to the Meta-owned messaging app. This new feature is introduced for iOS devices.
This new feature looks similar to YouTube’s video playback controls. WhatsApp users can now pin multiple chats and messages. This feature will help users to rewind videos by 10 seconds and forward by 10 seconds, for which they just need to double click on the screen.
Now while watching a video on WhatsApp, one has to swipe back and forth on the progress bar to rewind or forward it.
This feature was being tested since last year and now it has been rolled out to users.
WhatsApp has been reported to be rolling out this new update to users in Apple’s App Store.
According to the company, this feature will be available to all users in the next few days.
However, it is not clear yet when this feature can be introduced for Android users.
Along with this, the process of sending video messages in WhatsApp is also being changed.
Earlier this feature was used by clicking on the microphone button, but now you have to long press the camera button to use it.
