What is the best time to walk during fasting during Ramadan?

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN)–While most people tend to go for an early morning walk, many are confused regarding the best time to exercise while fasting during Ramadan.

Thus, the Saudi Ministry of Health, in a tweet through its official account on the “Twitter” website, presented a set of recommendations that may interest you during the fasting period.

At the outset, the Saudi Ministry of Health explained the importance of delaying walking for the period before the Maghrib call to prayer, as well as the importance of choosing the right place so that you do not become very tired and dehydrated.

The Saudi Ministry of Health advised that unaccompanied walking should also be avoided when suffering from chronic diseases.

And of course, stop walking when you feel dizzy, extremely tired, or have trouble breathing.

And the main health awareness platform of the Saudi Ministry of Health, “Live Well”, published a tweet via “Twitter”, in which it included the appropriate duration of physical activity for each age group.

  • From 5 to 15 years: 60 minutes a day of physical activity, moderate or intense
  • From 18 to 64 years old: 150 minutes of moderate physical activity throughout the week
  • From 65 years and over: 150 minutes of moderate physical activity throughout the week
