Research that focuses on the amazing “healing effect” of “exercise” is now attracting worldwide attention.Exercising… “Protects from stress”, “Anti-depressant effect comparable to that of antidepressants”, “Increases resilience factor and increases anxiety”, “Can eliminate the same level of dementia risk as genetics” “Children can concentrate on their studies and improve their grades.”Dr. Jennifer Hayes, a leading expert in “exercise x neuroscience,” summarized the surprising research results. Her research has been featured in numerous international media outlets, including The New York Times, BBC, CNN, and HuffPost. The Japanese version of her first book that summarizes her content in an easy-to-understand manner for the general public.“Depression disappears with exercise: Reset method for “mental disorder” clarified by neuroscience”was released on September 7th. This time, this bookA special excerpt from Chapter 7, “The Amazing Effects of Exercise on Work and Children’s Academic Performance,” will be made available to the public.
Exercising students can concentrate in class
From recent research in my lab, I’ve also discovered why exercise improves academic performance. Students who move their bodies a lot get better grades becauseLess inattentiveness and hyperactivity during classIt’s fromespeciallyattention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)For children with AD, exercise can help alleviate cognitive, behavioral and physical symptoms.
Abby’s son Aiden has ADHD and needs exercise every day. In grade school, Aiden attended gym classes every day, and Abby quickly noticed the benefits.
“My ability to concentrate has improved dramatically. My brain is much clearer. It’s almost as if exercise has taken my son’s restlessness away.”
However, when Aiden entered high school, his daily exercise routine disappeared and his restlessness returned. Abby also gets a warning from Aiden’s teacher for her rowdy behavior.
Then I realized once more. His son’s brain needed exercise to think. Abby encourages Aiden to exercise together every morning before going to school.and twoAs soon as I started exercising, I stopped receiving attentionIt is.
Exercise is the best medicine
Children and adults with ADHD have trouble concentrating because their prefrontal cortex lacks the nutrients it needs. There is a lack of blood flow and dopamine.
Exercise has the power to correct this deficit by altering the same nervous system that remedies like Ritalin and Adderall work on. And there are no unwanted side effects.
