What is a secondary sex characteristic: that’s a good question

The secondary sexual character, it is what, in a species, differentiates the male from the female, without this characteristic being directly related to reproduction. It’s not regarding the penis, the uterus or the vagina.

In animals, here are some examples: lion’s mane, deer’s antlers, ram’s horns… In “human hope”, certain secondary sexual characteristics are well known: hairiness is often greater in humans, the pelvis more wide in women.

Take the test!

Others are more amazing! without being systematic, certain secondary sexual characteristics are sometimes observed: it is noted that often the difference in size between the index and middle fingers is more marked in women than in men. In the same way, often, the woman can keep the stretched arms and the glued elbows when the man, him, is incapable of it! Take the test!
