On December 6 at the Cerisaie village hall in Tavers (Loiret), a Christmas market like no other will take place. While some end-of-year treats and artisanal products will be present, job seekers will also be invited to introduce themselves and submit their CVs in a festive setting. At the origin of this innovative initiative, Estelle Chesneau, representative of the local employment agency “Partenaire”: “The idea emerged within our team during a meeting where we were looking for alternatives to traditional formats of recruitment. Faced with the difficulty of attracting candidates, the idea of combining a Christmas market with professional meetings gained ground. This is how the project matured for almost a year before becoming a reality. »

This first edition of the Christmas job market innovates by offering a space where each candidate will have the opportunity to submit their CV and interact with the recruiters present. Estelle highlights the relaxed aspect of the event: “Candidates can not only apply, but also shop among the exhibitors present, thus creating a friendly atmosphere conducive to exchanges. »

Nine companies will be present

The Christmas Jobs Market will host around ten exhibitors offering products such as candles, jewelry, leather goods, and even a wildlife photographer. On the recruiter side, nine companies will be present. There are in particular major players in the industrial and logistics sector, such as Deret, Sillinger, M2LOG, as well as a tertiary company with a campsite looking for seasonal staff.

“We have a significant number of positions to fill, with permanent needs, and the event aims to create synergy between the supply and demand for employment in our local area,” underlines Estelle Chesneau.

The Christmas job market is not limited to simple networking. Candidates will have the opportunity to interact with recruiters, submit their application, and even discuss their rights and procedures with Pôle emploi.

The “Partner” agency plans to make this event an annual tradition, thus strengthening the link between the magic of Christmas and professional opportunities.

Those interested can go to the Cerisaie village hall in Tavers on December 6, between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
