Ferrari saw its start to the season with a bang mortgaged by one and the same person: Carlos Sainz. Until now, the Spaniard had a reputation as a solid driver. Less flamboyant than his garage neighbor Charles Leclerc, he was Ferrari’s all-risk insurance in 2021.
