What happened to the aberrant joke they made?

Alejandro Fantino announced the drastic decision taken in Neura following the scandal generated over the weekend by the outrageous statements that aired on Friday night in the Neura Delayed Knight program, hosted by Sergio “Tronco” Figliuolo.

In this program, they aired the supposed “joke” that a listener recorded.

For listeners, Tronco’s reaction was as reprehensible as the “joke” that had just aired. Amid the laughter of his colleagues, the host simply took his face in his hands and shouted: “But check, your mother’s f…k!”

Over the weekend, X (formerly Twitter) was full of indignant comments regarding what happened at Neura Delayed Knight, and there were quite a few who pointed directly at Fantino, one of Neura’s shareholders and the host of the main program on that streaming service: Multiverso.

What Alejandro Fantino del Tronco said

Today, in his own program, Alejandro Fantino took up the challenge and spoke regarding what happened in forceful terms.

“I have no influence on the content that Tronco produces with his team. I am responsible for what happens here, in Multiverso,” the host began by saying.

He continued: “I was at home on Friday and found out on Saturday what had happened. As I felt defamed by a lot of people, I am going to take legal action once morest all those who have tarnished my good name and honour, when I had absolutely nothing to do with this aberrant, reprehensible and disgusting act.”

Regarding the Neura space where the audio was aired, Alejandro Fantino communicated the decision that was made: “The program will no longer be aired, Tronco will tell them what he is going to do with his life,” he said.

He added: “Anyone who did not properly check what might or might not be aired, because it is an aberrant thing, no longer belongs to this company.”

“And I apologize as one of the minority shareholders of this place,” Alejandro Fantino concluded.

What the Trunk said

After the scandal that arose, its host Sergio “Tronco” Figliuolo apologized for what happened.

“I am angry with what happened, and I am angry with myself,” said Tronco. “We came up with the idea of making a comedy show, we opened the phones and you can find anything. But the important thing is the issue of not reacting. What I managed to do in the face of that atrocity was to laugh out of my nerves,” he began.

“But I’m not going to be a coward, to blame those who are on the other side working like dogs. When you have a program, you have to take responsibility. This beast went on the air… Later we’ll see if the number was recorded. There are things that are not seen; I went off the air, I took charge of deleting and checking. I’m angry with myself because I mightn’t react as I should have,” he said.

Panelist Sergio “Tronco” Figliuolo.

“Don’t hit Neura, because here all the programs are autonomous – continued Tronco -. To dirty Neura with this is a nonsense. It was an outrage and I am angry with myself because I might not handle the situation.”

“I think what happened is outrageous. We absolutely condemn it,” he said.
