10 days following winning the title, Qatar University decided to honor Argentine star Lionel Messi.
The university made a new decision regarding the room in which the captain of the Argentine national team resided during the 2022 World Cup.

And decided to allocate the room in which the Argentine star Messi stayed during the World Cup in Qatar to become a mini-museum.
She also published, on her Twitter account, pictures of the room, where it is decorated with a picture of Messi, and the Argentine flag is present next to the Qatari flag.

It is noteworthy that the Argentine national team won the Qatar World Cup 2022, following defeating France in the final match by penalty kicks, 4-2, following the end of the original and extra time of the match in a positive draw with three goals each.

The Argentine national team delegation was staying on the campus of Qatar University during the World Cup period.
