The remembered TV series actress Antonia Santa Maria, today 40 years old, reappeared in the media by giving an interview to an important national magazine, in which she explained the reasons that kept her from the Chilean TV series, acknowledging that it was because of a bad experience she had. What happened to her?
In conversation with Revista Ya, the protagonist of “The chucara” and “Tell me who is” assured that his last experience with the dramatic area was not the best: “It was not a good experience. But I learned from her. There I felt that she had to get away from me and she was one of the last on TVN, so even if she hadn’t wanted to, she had to get away from me.”
“After I got pregnant, I started to raise and it was good not to be on screen,” said Antonia, although she admits that “now that the youngest is three years old, my hands itch a little. I miss everyday life with colleagues, living with actors every day, that rhythm, ”she assured.
Would you like to return to the TV series? The actress’s response was blunt: “Anyway. Unless it was a booby trap. But it will always be a good experience. I like that job”.
Antonia Santa María: “I feel sorry for TVN”
Within the interview, the sister of the journalist Constanza Santa María referred to the crisis that the dramatic area is suffering. Faced with this, she indicated that “it is sad that there are channels without a dramatic area. I feel sorry for TVN, because I was there in the last ones”.
“It is always said that now television competes with the Internet and other platforms, but that is for an elite. What is more massive and accessible continues to be television. But I understand that the economic circumstances are not good for the channels”, he explained.
