What foods are rich in vitamin B3?

Vitamins are important substances for the development and functioning of the body. So far it has been determined that there are 13 classes of these vitamins that are essential for the development of the body, and indeed those of category B are part of this group.

“Insufficient vitamin B3 can cause a disease called pellagra (a condition characterized by disorders of the skin, nerves and digestion)”, assured the portal regarding the risks of not having enough of this substance in the body.

In addition, he added that vitamin B3 is also being used in some scientific studies for the prevention of skin cancer, among other types of this diagnosis. This same substance is good for lowering blood cholesterol, he concluded.

The Clinic of the University of Navarra, in Spain, displayed a list of foods that contain this vitamin, indicating that among the richest in B3 is peanuts or peanuts, tuna, chicken, serrano ham and cod, since for every 100 milligrams, these foods would have between 21 and 10% of the mentioned vitamin.
