What did Sarfraz say about Amir and Imad’s withdrawal of retirement?

Wicket keeper batsman Sarfaraz Ahmed, on withdrawing the retirement decision of Muhammad Amir and Imad Wasim, said that the decision of both will benefit the Pakistan team.

In a program of a local TV channel, former captain Sarfraz Ahmed was asked who is the best captain among Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Shadab Khan? To which he replied that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will decide the captaincy of the team but whoever is entrusted with the leadership duties should get full time.

He said that when Pakistan was leading the team, all the players were very supportive, there were some moments in the field where some bitter words came out but no one took offense, I want to thank all the players today. I want those whose individual performance brought me to this point.

On being removed from the captaincy of former Pakistan Super League (PSL) champion team Quetta Gladiators, Sarfraz Ahmed said that I already knew about being removed, there is no sadness in taking back the leadership.

On withdrawing the decision of retirement from Muhammad Aamir and Imad Wasim, he said that the decision of both of them will benefit the Pakistan team. I have good friendship with both cricketers. Do it but that was their decision but happy to be back.

On the question about contesting the election, Sarfraz Ahmed said that an acquaintance had asked him why he should not contest, to which he said that there is still some cricket left and then he will watch it.
