According to Indian media reports, Malaika Arora’s father, Anil Kuldeep Mehta, living on the sixth floor of an apartment in Bandra area of Mumbai, allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the balcony yesterday morning.

Sharing a post on photo and video sharing platform Instagram, Malaika Arora announced the death of her father and said, “We are deeply saddened to announce the passing away of our dear father Anil Mehta, a gentle soul, an excellent. Nana was a loving husband and best friend.
“Our family is in deep shock at this time and we request privacy from the media and well-wishers at this difficult time. We appreciate your support and respect,” he wrote.
More details continue to emerge after the death of 65-year-old Anil Mehta, according to the dancer’s mother and late wife Joyce Polly, who was at home when the incident happened, unexpectedly around 9 a.m. Wednesday morning. When I saw my husband’s slippers, I started looking for them at home.
According to Indian media, when the husband was not found at home, he looked out from the balcony and saw commotion and noise in the apartment. A security guard was shouting for help and realized that something was wrong.
According to media reports, before allegedly jumping from the balcony, Anil Mehta called his two daughters back and said, “I am tired.”
It should be noted that when Anil Mehta died, Malaika was not in Adora city, but was going to Pune for work.
