The show’s actress Jaya Manek aka Gopi Bahu spoke openly regarding the scene.
During an interview, Jaya said that she told the director of the show, ‘My friends will make fun of me’.
Before shooting the scene, Jaya expressed her concerns to the director, saying, ‘Sir, how can I do this, my friends will make fun of it, what will my family think? What will the audience think? Will I be trolled?’
However, their concerns were ignored and to this day the scene is considered one of the weirdest scenes in Indian TV shows.
