In dialogue with Canal E, from Grupo Perfil, the candidate for deputy of La Libertad Avanza for the City of Buenos Aires stated that “40% of the GDP is taken by the State: if this expense were smaller we could all work and there would be growth economic”.

In the interview, Mondino highlighted some of the problems the country is going through, including the lack of dollars:

– “It is true that the productive sector is not lent because the BCRA asks that it be invested in those remunerated liabilities, but it is also true that nobody wants to take loans with this rate.”

-“We still don’t know how big that snowball (of LELIQs) is going to be in December. The value of the dollar in December is impossible to know, that is decided by the market and it depends on there being a higher level of exports”.

-“The more pesos there are in the economy with a level of production that does not grow, that surplus escapes the dollar. Someday we have to solve this problem: this government is getting into debt to give away the dollars”.

-“Today people who import something into the country, since they don’t know what price they are going to replace it with, do not sell the product to you or sell it to you at blue price.”

-“It is important to get rid of the LELIQs, which grow at a phenomenal rate and are paid for with a monetary issue, which translates into inflation.”
