Large areas of clear sky spotted only by a few clouds in the Alpine and pre-Alpine areas, with possible very light rainfall in the followingnoon. These are the weather forecasts for Saturday 11 May by Paolo Sottocorona, on La7 news. In short, there are still some “remnants” of the instability that has affected the south in recent days. So much so that some very isolated precipitation in eastern Sicily and part of Calabria cannot be ruled out.
On Sunday 12 May, however, “we have the return of some clouds” on the northern plains and on some central areas, “some phenomena on the central-southern Apennines and then the phenomena on the Alpine and pre-Alpine areas which become a little more consistent especially on the western side”, explains the meteorologist. All signs that something is starting to change. In the south, however, “the effects of this residual instability have completely passed”. On Monday 13 May the situation changes little: there will be more frequent phenomena in Piedmont and “not only in the Alpine and pre-Alpine areas, but in some cases also in the plains”. But “it’s still a somewhat precarious situation”, comments Sottocorona.
