“The Christ child actually paved the way for me to get into music. When I was twelve or 13 years old, I asked for an electric guitar two days before Christmas, at very short notice. The joy was all the greater when I actually received one as a gift was under the Christmas tree, complete with an amplifier. I used to play classical guitar, but this was something completely different. The sound appealed to me immediately and I started writing my own songs.
