Between heat and storms, the end of the summer season seems to be traced: the synoptic situation sees a disturbed flow at high European latitudes while a wave trough of Atlantic origin partially affects Italy. The second part of the week will instead see a new strengthening of high pressure over the Mediterranean basin, with an associated attenuation of instability: temperatures in this period will return above the average for the period by 6-8 C.
