Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has bought a bulletproof car worth around Rs.
According to reports, actor Salman Khan has bought a bulletproof Nissan Patrol SUV. And since the car is not available in the Indian market, the actor is reportedly importing it from Dubai. The price of the car is around 66 million Pakistani rupees (2 crore Indian rupees), and it is estimated that a huge amount will be spent to get the car to India as soon as possible.
The imported car has several advanced safety features, such as an explosive alert indicator, thick glass shields to block point-blank bullets and camouflage black shields to hide the identity of passengers.
It may be recalled that Salman bought and imported a bulletproof car from the UAE last year too, when he and his father Salim Khan first received death threats from the Bishnoi gang.
Salman Khan is taking his security very seriously after fresh death threats from the Bishnoi gang. The actor has been on the radar of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang for some time now. After the killing of his friend and political leader Baba Siddiqui in recent days, he received fresh death threats, after which his security has been increased.

**Interview with Vehicle Safety Expert, Mr. Arjun Malhotra**
**Editor:** Thank you for joining us today, Mr. Malhotra. With the recent news about Salman Khan purchasing a bulletproof Nissan Patrol SUV due to security concerns, what do you think this says about celebrity safety in India today?
**Mr. Malhotra:** Thank you for having me. It definitely highlights an alarming trend regarding the safety of public figures in our country. Celebrities are increasingly under threat, and that pushes them toward extreme measures like acquiring bulletproof vehicles.
**Editor:** The vehicle Salman Khan has chosen boasts advanced features, including explosive alert indicators and thick glass shields. In your opinion, are such features necessary, or do they reflect paranoia in the industry?
**Mr. Malhotra:** It’s a fine line between caution and paranoia. Given the escalating threats from organized crime, protective measures can be justified safety precautions. However, the question remains—how many celebrities actually need such extensive security? It could also pave the way for a mentality where luxury is prioritized over practicality.
**Editor:** That’s an interesting point. Salman’s previous purchase of a bulletproof vehicle was reportedly in response to the Bishnoi gang’s threats. Do you believe this kind of potential violence against public figures will continue and influence how they protect themselves?
**Mr. Malhotra:** Unfortunately, if the trend continues with more celebrities facing targeted threats, we might see an increase in the demand for bulletproof vehicles. This could start a debate on the responsibilities of public figures regarding their safety versus the impact on public perception.
**Editor:** Absolutely. Speaking of public perception, how do you think fans and the general public will react to Salman spending 2 crore rupees on a bulletproof car?
**Mr. Malhotra:** It could spark mixed reactions. On one hand, fans may sympathize with his situation and understand the need for heightened security. On the other hand, critics might argue that such spending is extravagant, especially when many in society struggle. It opens up the floor for discussion on wealth and responsibility in the public sphere.
**Editor:** Great insights! Lastly, what do you envision as a broader societal response toward celebrity security measures? Will this encourage more individuals to think about personal safety?
**Mr. Malhotra:** Ideally, yes. Increased awareness around personal safety measures could emerge, leading to more discussions about crime, security, and the pressures that come with fame. However, it also raises questions about accessibility—will average citizens have the means to prioritize such safety features?
**Editor:** Thank you, Mr. Malhotra. As Salman Khan takes steps for his protection, it raises significant discussions on safety and public perception. What do our readers think?
