Legal Ayman Al-Rifai revealed the expected penalties for Al-Ittihad and striker Abdul Razzaq Hamdallah, if the club’s incitement to the player is proven to leave his former club Al-Nasr, indicating that it may amount to a ban on registration.
The case of Al-Nasr and Hamdallah began with the club’s dissolution of the player’s contract unilaterally for legal reasons that guarantee him his financial rights, and then the Moroccan striker joined Al-Ittihad in a free transfer deal and his remarkable brilliance with the team.

The events followed, with Al-Nasr filing a complaint once morest Hamdallah and Al-Ittihad in the Professionalism Committee and Players’ Conditions, and the player’s lawyer filing a complaint once morest the Al-Asmy Club, then a sudden statement from the Football Association announcing that it did not have jurisdiction to look into the case because it involved foreign parties and because it was being considered by FIFA.
This was followed by a leaked audio recording attributed to Hamdallah and Hamdel Al-Balawi, Executive Director of Al-Ittihad, one day before the match between Al-Nasr and Al-Ittihad in the first leg of the Saudi League.
Some questioned the authenticity of the leak, but Al-Nasr Club was skeptical with a statement it published yesterday, in which it confirmed that it had audio recordings condemning Hamdallah, Al-Balawi and Al-Ittihad, and that his complaint with the International Federation is different from the one he submitted at the end of last March to the Saudi Football Association.
Al-Rifai told Al-Arabiya regarding the expected penalties, “If the recordings are proven to be true and Al-Ittihad incites Hamdallah to leave Al-Nasr, the player will be punished according to the regulations of the Professionalism Committee and Players’ Conditions, which is compensation and suspension for 4-6 months and a fine of no more than 300,000 riyals, and the club may be deprived of registration. For two transfer periods and a fine.
He added, “If Al-Ittihad learns of Hamid Al-Balawi’s behavior, he will be punished, of course, and if he does not know, the official will be punished alone. The penalty may reach deduction of points if it is proven that the club is a partner, and that punishment will be disciplinary from the Professional Committee.”

It is noteworthy that Al-Nassr included Hamdallah from the Qatari league in the summer of 2018, and the player starred with him and led him to achieve the league title in the 2018-2019 season and achieved a historical record for the number of goals in one season in the history of the professional league.
The player was crowned top scorer in the Saudi League in the following season, but his level began to decline and his problems began to increase later, until he ended up terminating his contract by the club for reasons that were not officially announced, but it was said that they were behavioral and disciplinary.
