What Apple products are you planning to buy or most curious to hear regarding in 2024? Is there good news from Apple next year?
What if 2024 was finally the year of renewal in Cupertino? If we are sure to see a whole new type of product arrive with the Vision Pro, other little nuggets might be in preparation from Apple. Some rumors suggest the existence of a unique Apple Watch model for the watch’s tenth anniversary, or even new generation iPads.
Beyond the announcement of new products, Apple might still break all records in terms of the stock market and its market capitalization…

After the Apple Watch Series 7, 8 or even 9, what would be the model planned for next year? In all likelihood, Apple would decide to mark the tenth anniversary of the presentation of its first smartwatch. In September 2014, Apple lifted the veil on what would become one of its most successful products in recent years, the Apple Watch.
Like the iPhone noticeably different from the Series and Ultra. It would thus be thinner (and therefore lighter) and would offer a completely flat slab. We remember the flop of 2021 with all the leakers who announced a very particular model, before Apple retracted and offered exactly the same design.
Another significant change would be the bracelet attachment system. These have always been compatible between the different models, Apple might review these attachments with the Series X, in order to save space for, for example, a better battery. Finally, a new type of microLED screen, designed by Apple, would offer maximum brightness never before achieved on Watch.
Two new AirPods
If the arrival of AirPods Max 2 is unlikely (only a USB-C compatible model is expected, Editor’s note), it is mainly the side of in-ear headphones that we must look at. Currently, Apple is offering the 2nd generation AirPods for sale, sold for €149, and the 3rd generation, currently priced at €199. There’s little to distinguish them from each other other than spatial audio, a pressure sensor, water and sweat resistance, and better battery life on the newer model.
In 2024, Apple should simplify its range, with two new models, and thus put those previously mentioned by the wayside. The announcement expected for next year would concern two fourth generation models. Both would feature a design that is halfway between that of the AirPods Pro and that of the third generation, therefore offering shorter stems.
The charging case would finally have a speaker in order to emit a noise using the Locate app.
In order to differentiate these two new models, Apple would offer active noise reduction on the most expensive model, until now reserved for AirPods Pro and Max. The announcement of these new models would be scheduled for September 2024, at the same time as the iPhone 16.
iPad Pro OLED
It’s the Arlesienne of the iPad range. For years we have been talking regarding the arrival of an iPad Pro with an OLED screen and it has still not appeared even though the iPhone has had it since 2019 and the iPhone 11 Pro. Since then, an iPad has never taken the step of OLED for its panel.
Produced mainly by LG, this new screen would be positive in many ways for the user experience, since beyond increasing the brightness and improving the comfort of use, the OLED screen might be beneficial for the autonomy. On the other hand, and this is where the problem lies, an OLED iPad would cost more to manufacture, which might be passed on to customers.
The M3 processor, which equips the new MacBook Pros, might also be included in the future new iPad Pros.
Apple Vision Pro
This is not a surprise, but his arrival in the United States should take place much sooner than we think. The Apple Vision Pro, Apple’s mixed reality headset allowing computers to move into the era of “spatial computing”, would already arrive in February in American Apple Stores. Excellent news for fans of the brand eager to spend more than $3,000 for this headset.
As for the others, and in particular us, poor Europeans, no exit window has yet been mentioned. The first keynote of the year, which might arrive during the month of January or February, would help lift the veil on this mystery. However, Apple might wait a while, just to see if pre-orders and sales in Uncle Sam’s country are promising, and thus explore other countries.
Stratospheric heights on the stock market
This announcement has nothing material, but more pecuniary and financial for the Apple board and its shareholders. We know Apple is attached to the stock market and its daily results when Wall Street closes. If 2023 has already been remarkable for the brand with the share price reaching $197.96 at the beginning of December (a first since the share split in 2020), 2024 might be surprising in a good way. points.
The arrival of brand new products next year, like the Vision Pro, should allow Apple to increase its share price. According to some rumors, an AAPL share might cost a whopping $250 in 2024. Unheard of.
As for market capitalization, these would once more be dizzying figures that might reach Apple and its shareholders. Some thus evoke a capitalization which would reach… 4,000 billion dollars, where it is slightly below 3,000 billion at the dawn of 2024.
