[Archyde.com]-Russian President Vladimir Putin said on the 12th that the strict sanctions imposed on Russia by Western countries following the Ukrainian conflict caused a global economic crisis and catastrophic inflation.

At a government meeting on the economy, sanctions on Western nations threatened the global crisis, hitting the European Union (EU) and causing famine in some of the world’s poorest nations. “All this responsibility lies with the elite of the Western nations. They are trying to sacrifice other nations to maintain global domination.”

On the other hand, Russia is responding to pressure from Western countries, he said. “We are confident in addressing external issues with our recent responsible macroeconomic policies and systematic decisions to strengthen economic sovereignty, technology and food security,” he said.
