Western Redi disables illegal runway L8 used by the Tancol in Zulia

Caracas.- In the state of Zulia, members of the National Armed Forces (FANB) of the Strategic Region of Integral Defense (Redi) Western number disabled an illegal runway L8, used by the group Armed Terrorists Narcotraffickers of Colombia (Tancol) for drug trafficking.

This was reported by the Strategic Operational Commander of the FANB (Ceofanb), Domingo Hernández Lárez, who explained that they seized engineering material and beacons placed by the Tancol to affect the nation.

Likewise, he explained that the FANB is deployed “in the exercise of its mission as guardians of the honor and independence of the country, guaranteeing national sovereignty throughout the cross-border axis,” he stressed.
