The Regional Development Fund of the Region of Western Greece draws attention to the traders regarding the risk of being deceived, as unidentified persons contact beneficiaries, seeking to obtain information regarding their bank accounts.
Specifically, recently, officials of the Regional Development Fund received information that third parties, not connected to any relationship with the Region of Western Greece (PDE) and the Regional Development Fund of the Region of Western Greece (PTA-PDE), are calling PDE contractors by telephone and of the PTA, impersonate the “employees” and use any information regarding the bills or documents that have been paid by the service, with the aim, possibly, of stealing personal and banking information of individuals and businesses.
This is a malicious attempt at fraud and interception of data and it is hereby announced that no executive or employee of PDE and PTA has requested and will not request any person or company by telephone, personal or other information.
Citizens who have been recipients of fraudulent attempts can report similar attempts on the telephone numbers 2613-613661, 2613-613663 and 2613-613681, while all contracting parties are requested to be particularly careful in their transactions.
