Westerlo has reportedly been following De Mil for some time, even when he was playing in Challenger Pro League and De Mil was coaching Club NXT.
Westerlo would not want to rush things. Several coaches experienced in the fight once morest relegation are said to be on management’s list. De Mil, for his part, has never hidden his desire to become T1 following taking over as interim manager at the end of last season in Bruges.
