TASS, 11 June. English West Ham will have to pay CSKA Moscow €17.43 million for the transfer of Croatian midfielder Nikola Vlašić. The corresponding decision of the Dispute Resolution Chamber of the International Football Federation (FIFA) is published on the website of the organization.

It is noted that if West Ham does not pay the debt by July 31, then the total amount of compensation will increase to € 25.65 million. Also, the English club will be prohibited from registering new players for three years until the full amount is paid.

Vlašić moved from CSKA to West Ham in the summer of 2021. In August 2022, the general director of the army team, Roman Babaev, announced that the English club had not fully paid for the transfer of the player. On October 25, CSKA decided to apply to FIFA to resolve this issue. On April 3, Babaev told Sport-Express that West Ham would have to pay regarding €18 million for the transfer.

Vlašić is 25 years old, he played for CSKA from 2018 to 2021, having spent 108 matches for the army team during this time, scoring 33 goals and giving 21 assists. The rights to the midfielder belong to West Ham, currently Vlašić is on loan for the Italian Torino, this season the Croatian scored 5 goals and 8 assists in 37 meetings.
