In Allen, Sen. Alberto Weretilneck met this Tuesday with the leadership of the so-called CGT Río Negro, headed by truck driver Rubén Belich. union leadership supported his candidacy for the Governorship for Juntos Somos Río Negroframed in the “great provincial agreement” proposed by the former president of Rio Negro.
The position in favor of Weretilneck was repeated, too, with union organizations of Barilochewho released a statement.
Weretilneck attended the meeting, held at the Truckers’ property, with legislator Lucas Pica, who was his Secretary of Labor. Reportedly, the talk focused on “Agree work guidelines and guidelines for the political future of Río Negro”.
In addition to Belich, the general secretary of the Fruit Workers, Marcos Bielma; his Health Department, Gloria Ovejero and, among others, gastronomic leaders, Nelson Rasini and the historic Ovidio Zuñiga.
In the dialogue, Belich ratified his support for Weretilneck while alluding to the fact that the “the labor sector is faithfully represented in the political ranks of Juntos Somos Río Negro”.
Support of the unions of Bariloche
The senator also added the support of unions of Bariloche with the incorporation to the so-called “great agreement” of the leaders Gabriel Prieto of Luz y Fuerza; José Luis Poggi from Utedyc; Julio Palavecino of the Union of Bakers Workers of Río Negro and Neuquén; Luis Barrales from Río Negro Taxi Workers; Sergio Santibañez of the Bariloche United Maritime Workers Union; José Francisco Ocampo from the Río Negro Picnic Shop Workers and Alfredo Obregón from the Argentine Association of Telecommunications Workers (Aatrac).
The unions mentioned the context of “crack” at the national level and the new “ramifications and seals that have misrepresented” the idealsand assured that in Río Negro the party forces do not escape from this situation due to the lack of leaders and leaders who work in the territory.
“The union leaders of Bariloche, we have seen for a long time, how the comrade Alberto Weretilneck was erected in the person who brought together wills, who toured cities, towns and places, bringing solutions to the last resident of Río Negro”, they expressed in a statement that they made public today.
They also pointed out that the unions, mostly of Justicialista extraction, decided to join Juntos Somos Río Negro for 10 years and recognize in Weretilneck a “conductor of that pluralistic space” and they renew their incorporation following the agreement with Nos une Río Negro.
“We celebrated and considered that we needed these commitments, where collective construction is prioritized and not personal ambitions. Putting an end to the rift, or at least, making a strong contribution to that objective”, expressed the trade unionists who highlighted their integration into the CGT Río Negro and congratulated Weretilneck and Doñate “for doing what corresponds and not as in the majority of the cases, what is wanted”.
