Wolfsburg throws Kohfeldt out
Next coach bang in the Bundesliga! Like Borussia Mönchengladbach the day before, VfL Wolfsburg also announces the separation from its head coach. With the dismissal of 39-year-old Florian Kohfeldt (picture), the club is reacting to an unsatisfactory season. Kohfeldt was in office for just over seven months. As they announced, club officials began analyzing the season on Saturday evening, following the 2-2 draw once morest Bayern Munich, and continued it on Sunday. The step comes as a bit of a surprise, especially since the team with the Swiss internationals Kevin Mbabu and Renato Steffen was able to improve over the course of the spring. (SDA)
