War Elizabeth II died at the age of 96 years. During her reign, Queen Elizabeth often visited various countries, including Indonesia.

As quoted from the National Archives Information Network, on March 14, 1974 Queen Elizabeth II with her husband Prince Philip visited Indonesia. They visited Indonesia with a group.

At that time, War Elizabeth II and Prince Philip was the guest of the Indonesian state. They were welcomed by the then Governor of DKI Jakarta, Ali Sadikin.

They were then entertained by the second President of the Republic of Indonesia, Suharto and his wife, Siti Hartinah (Tien Suharto) at a state reception at the State Palace.

After that, they went to Yogyakarta and met with Sultan Hamengku Buwono IX at the Yogyakarta Palace. Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip also visited Borobudur. After leaving Yogyakarta, they then left for Bali.

Today, 48 years following that visit, Queen Elizabeth II passed away. He died at the age of 96 years.

Reported AFP, Friday (9/9/2022), the news was reported by Buckingham Palace. The Royal Family’s Twitter account reports that Queen Elizabeth has died at Balmoral.

Queen Elizabeth II was under medical supervision in Balmoral, Scotland. The surveillance came following palace doctors expressed concern over Queen Elizabeth’s health.

“Following further evaluation this morning, the Queen’s doctors are concerned regarding Her Majesty’s health and recommend that she remain under medical supervision,” a Palace statement said. BBCThursday (8/9).

“The Queen remains comfortable and at Balmoral,” the statement continued.
