Welcome: Maximilian is Upper Austria’s New Year’s baby 2024

At birth he weighed 3,210 grams and was 50 centimeters tall.

“We warmly congratulate Maximilian’s parents! We wish our New Year’s baby lots of love, happiness and contentment and all the best for the life ahead,” said State Governor Thomas Stelzer and State Governor Deputy Christine Haberlander congratulating the happy parents.

Birth just a few seconds following midnight

Anna and Alice were even faster than Maximilian: the two little twin girls were born just a few seconds following midnight in the Tulln Hospital in Lower Austria. Anna was born at 12:00 a.m. and 20 seconds, her sister Alice at 12:01 a.m. They are Austria’s New Year’s babies.
