The Argentine Forum for the Defense of Democracy (FADD), promoter of the complaint in Argentina against Nicolás Maduro, indicated on Wednesday, October 23, that it hopes that the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) activates the “red notices” of international search against Maduro after the arrest order issued by a Buenos Aires court.

Tomás Farini Duggan, legal representative of the FADD, explained in an interview with the EFE news agency that Interpol is free to decide or not, but it is about getting the international police organization to discuss and vote on it.

“It is not going to be easy at all,” said the Argentine lawyer, because Maduro is a foreign leader, with “immunities that protect him,” and his possible arrest would ultimately depend on the will of the authorities of the countries to which he is subject. so that he and his collaborators could travel.
