For the “Wedding at First Sight” couple Marina and Robert, their honeymoon ends with a shock. The two cannot fly back to Germany and are stuck in Namibia.
Windhoek, Namibia – This is probably not how the “Wedding at First Sight” participants Marina (28) and Robert (35) imagined their life together starting. What TV viewers don’t see: When the two want to fly home from their honeymoon in Namibia, their flights are canceled shortly beforehand. It is not clear to the couple what to do next.
“We were shocked at first”: “Wedding at first sight” couple is stuck
Since Marina and Robert’s dilemma was not shown on TV, the 28-year-old is now sharing her experiences and insights behind the scenes on Instagram. The couple only found out on the morning of their departure that they were not going back to Germany that day. “At first we were shocked because I had an important appointment the day following the return trip that I mightn’t keep,” writes Robert’s wife. Nevertheless, Marina didn’t allow herself to be disturbed: “Then I surrendered to the situation because I mightn’t change anything anyway.”

“My feelings quickly turned to joy because Robert and I had one more day together. Nevertheless, we had to pack our bags because we went back to Windhoek to be closer to the airport. We got a room and then relaxed for a while before we went out to dinner with the crew in the evening.”writes the “Wedding at First Sight” candidate in her Instagram post.
These “Wedding at First Sight” couples are still together
In ten years of “Wedding at First Sight” there have been far more breakups than happy relationships. But a few couples are still together.

Bliss in misfortune at “Wedding at First Sight”
It is not for nothing that many wedding vows say: in good days and in bad. The two newlyweds made the most of their time. “The next day, Robert and I were allowed to spend the morning as we wished. We first had a good breakfast and then went for a stroll in the mall. After we got back, we packed the rest of our things and then all went to the airport together. We still had some time there before our plane left. We played cards together and had a lot of fun,” Marina enthuses. All’s well that ends well!
In contrast to the couples from season 10, the former candidates Michaela (35) and Oliver (43) have already completed the experiment. Have they found their happy ending? Now the “Wedding at First Sight” couple is talking regarding their future plans. Sources used: instagram.com/marina.b_hadeb.2023; sat1.de
