PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones)–The distributor of cultural products and household appliances Fnac Darty and Ceva Logistics, a subsidiary of the shipowner CMA CGM, announced on Wednesday that they had signed an agreement to create a joint venture dedicated to logistics for e-commerce.
Called Weavenn, this company would be owned equally by the two partners and might be operational from 2024, “subject to approval by the competent authorities”, indicated Fnac Darty and Ceva Logistics in a press release.
“Within five years, the turnover of the joint venture might amount to more than 200 million euros and display a double-digit operating margin,” added the two groups.
