The Montag starts north of the main Alpine ridge and in the north and east with numerous dense clouds and local showers. Further south and southeast, however, it is sunny. As the day progresses, however, it clears up more and more everywhere, only in the mountains the cumulus clouds with a chance of showers become more powerful in the followingnoon. In the morning it is 13 to 19 degrees, later 22 to 29 degrees.
High pressure influence ensures Tuesday In the Eastern Alps, the weather will be predominantly sunny and increasingly hot. However, over the Alpine peaks in particular, cumulus clouds can form once more and once more during the day, bringing with them local heat thunderstorms. Light to moderate winds will blow from the east to the south, with early temperatures between 13 and 20 degrees. The highest temperatures during the day will be between 27 and 33 degrees.
Am Wednesday The sun will shine until the followingnoon and it will be hot to very hot and partly humid. Later, the cumulus clouds will become more powerful and the risk of showers and thunderstorms will increase, particularly in the west and north and generally over the mountains. After 14 to 21 degrees in the morning, temperatures will reach 29 to a hot 36 degrees during the day.
Am Thursday There will initially be residual clouds and local showers, particularly on the northern side of the Alps and in the north and northeast. As the day progresses, the sun will shine once more everywhere and it will be hot and humid. In the followingnoon, however, the risk of thunderstorms will increase significantly in the mountains and individual thunderstorm cells may later move into the lowlands. The lowest temperatures will be between 15 and 22 degrees, and the highest temperatures between 27 and 33 degrees, with the highest values in the southeast.
Am Freitag it will be sunny and hot in large parts of the country. Only in the west will the first rain showers and thunderstorms be possible in the morning, and in the followingnoon the risk of thunderstorms will increase significantly in East Tyrol, Salzburg and Upper Austria. The wind will be moderate to brisk, initially from the southeast to the south, and then increasingly from the west with the thunderstorms. The early temperatures will once more range between 15 and 22 degrees, later reaching 28 to 35 degrees, with the highest values in the east.
