The weather is expected to be autumnal from Thursday (29/8) with several rains that may create problems.
Thodoris Kolidas made a new post about how the weather will develop in the coming days. He speaks of weather “adjustments” and warns of local strong phenomena from Thursday.
As he explained, the instability will last until Saturday and the temperature will fluctuate at levels close to normal for the season. Also, the winds will generally be weakened on the seas with maximum intensity until Sunday at 6 Beaufort in the Aegean.

“The cold air mass from the Ukraine region will cause this unsettled weather. On the three-day Thursday to Saturday we will see a lot of rain, it is possible that the phenomena may even create problems. The prefecture of Attica and Halkidiki will also be caught in the rains, we emphasize why some people are still on vacation” said Klearchos Marousakis in his OPEN forecast.
Clearchos Marousakis emphasized that this three-day event will resemble “advanced autumn and needs attention”. Showers, thunderstorms and thunderstorms will taper off Sunday.

It will reach 31 to 33 and locally 34 degrees in the mainland, the Ionian, the Dodecanese and Crete, and 28 to 30 degrees Celsius in the rest of the island country.

Initially, generally clear weather with a few clouds temporarily increasing in the Ionian, the Sporades and Crete with the occurrence of local rains. Gradual clouds will develop and in the continental areas and in the afternoon – afternoon hours there will be local rain or showers and sporadic storms will occur, possibly strong in places.
Improvement is expected in the evening hours. Winds will blow from north directions 3 to 5 and locally in the eastern Aegean 6 Beaufort. The temperature will see a slight further drop. It will reach the mainland, the Ionian, the Dodecanese and Crete 30 to 32 and locally 33 degrees and in the rest of the island country 27 to 29 degrees Celsius.

A few clouds that will quickly increase in the Sporades, Evia, Crete, the Ionian Islands and gradually in the continental areas where there will be local rains or showers and sporadic storms will occur, mainly in the central and southern continental areas.
Improvement is expected in the evening hours. Winds in the west will be variable 3 to 4 and in the Ionian they will blow from northerly directions up to 5 Beaufort. In the east they will blow from northerly directions 3 to 5 and locally in the Aegean 6 Beaufort. The temperature will not change appreciably.

In Evia, the Sporades, eastern Sterea, eastern Peloponnese, the Cyclades and Crete, clouds temporarily increased with local rain and possible isolated storms. In the rest of the country, generally clear weather with a few clouds temporarily increasing in the midday – afternoon hours, mainly in the western and northern continental areas.
Winds will blow from north directions 3 to 5 and locally in the Aegean 6 Beaufort.
The temperature will rise slightly in the west and north.
