The weather in our country will remain rainy tomorrow, Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September, as strong weather phenomena will occur in many areas and may cause problems.
According to the forecast of ALPHA meteorologist Giorgos Tsatrafillias, tomorrow Saturday, September 20, storms are expected in Katerini, Magnesia, Halkidiki, Evia and Sporades.
“Caution is needed”, warns Mr. Tsatrafillias, especially from midday onwards, while the north winds are also expected to strengthen, therefore the cold will be more intense early in the morning and also at night.
The weather for tomorrow according to EMY
According to the EMY forecast, unsettled weather with rain and storms is expected until the afternoon in western, central Macedonia, Thessaly, Evia and the Sporades.
In the rest of the country, clouds will increase at times with local rains and isolated storms in the afternoon – afternoon in the mainland (except Thrace) and Crete. Visibility in the morning hours in continental areas will be locally limited.
Winds will blow from north directions in the west 3 to 4 and in the east 5 to 6 and locally in the Aegean 7 Beaufort.
The temperature will not change appreciably. It will reach 24 to 26 in the west and north and 27 to 28 degrees Celsius in the rest of the country.
MACEDONIA, THRACE
Weather: Unsettled in Macedonia with rain and sporadic storms mainly until the afternoon. The effects are likely to be strong in central Macedonia in the morning hours. In Thrace, temporarily increased clouds.
Winds: From the north 3 to 4 and from the east 5 to 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 12 to 26 degrees and in western Macedonia up to 19 to 20 degrees Celsius.
IONIAN ISLANDS, EPIROS, WEST STEREA, WEST PELOPONNISOS
Weather: Clouds at times increased with local rains in the Ionian and mid-afternoon in the continental areas where storms will also occur
Winds: East northeast 3 to 4 Beaufort
Temperature: From 17 to 25 to 26 degrees Celsius. In the interior of Epirus from 12 to 20 degrees Celsius.
EASTERN STEREA, EVIA, EASTERN PELOPONNISOS
Weather: In Evia, rains and sporadic storms which are likely to be strong in places in the north. Improvement is expected in the afternoon. In the rest of the areas, clouds will increase at times with local rains and sporadic storms of short duration, mainly in the afternoon – afternoon.
Winds: Northerly 4 to 5 and east local 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 16 to 28 degrees Celsius.
CYCLADES, CRETE
Weather: In the Cyclades, a few clouds temporarily increased with the possibility of local rains until noon. In Crete, clouds at times increased with local rains or showers until the afternoon.
Winds: From north directions 5 to 6 and temporarily in the Cyclades 7 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 20 to 27 to 28 degrees Celsius.
EAST AEGEAN ISLANDS – DODECANISE
Weather: A few clouds temporarily increased mainly in the north, where a few local rains will occur.
Winds: Northerly 5 to 6 and locally 7 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 20 to 28 degrees Celsius.
THESSALY
Weather: Unstable with rain and sporadic storms until the afternoon. The effects in the east and especially in the Sporades until the midday hours are likely to be strong.
Winds: Northerly 4 to 5 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 15 to 24 to 25 degrees Celsius.
ATTICA
Weather: Temporarily increased clouds mainly in the midday and afternoon hours with local rains mainly in the west and north. From the evening, generally sunny.
Winds: From north directions 4 to 5 and to the east 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 19 to 28 degrees Celsius.
THESSALONIKI
Weather: Intermittently increased clouds. Rain and sporadic storms will occur mainly in the early morning and afternoon hours.
Winds: Variable 3 to 4 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 17 to 24 degrees Celsius.
