Tonight skies will become overcast once more with showers from the coast. They will take on a winter character south of the Sambre and Meuse furrow, and will give rise to a depth of fresh snow of 1 to 4 cm on the heights of the Ardennes. Fog will once once more limit visibility in the Ardennes. The minima will be around -1 degree on the Ardennes relief, +1 or +2 degrees in the center, and +6 degrees on the coast.
On Wednesday, the sky will often be cloudy with showers coming from the North Sea, which will mainly affect the west of the country. In the Ardennes, it will be winter showers, leading to a thickening of the snowpack. In the plain, some clearings will be possible, while south of the Sambre and Meuse furrow, the weather will remain gray with abundant low clouds and, in the Ardennes, persistent fog. The maxima will be around 0 degrees in Hautes-Fagnes, +6 degrees in the center and +7 degrees at the coast.
