Weather: Snow is expected this Sunday

The maxima will be between 1°C on the Ardennes heights and 6 or 7°C in the center and west of the country. The wind will be light to moderate from the northwest sector.

The minima will range between -3 and 2°C under a weak wind returning to the south-westerly sector.

Monday, the clouds will be predominant with sometimes a few timid clearings or a shower. In Upper Belgium, a few showers of wet snow are expected. The maxima will reach 2 to 3°C in the upper Ardennes and 6 to 7°C in the center and the west. The wind will be weak and later moderate from west-southwest, turning to the west.

On Tuesday, an area of ​​precipitation will trail over the country. The sky will be very cloudy with melting snow in Lower and Middle Belgium, and snow in Upper Belgium. In the afternoon, the weather will gradually become generally dry in the plains with some sunny spells. The maxima will be 2 or 3°C in the center and close to 0°C in the Hautes Fagnes.

Wednesday, the weather will become generally dry with however still some snow mainly in the extreme south of the country. North of the Sambre-et-Meuse furrow especially, periods of sunshine are expected.

On Thursday, clouds will be predominant with a chance of some precipitation later in the day.
