High temperatures and strong winds will be the main features of the weather in the coming days, as next week the “lava” is expected to return to our country.
The first rise in temperature comes as early as tomorrow Sunday.
According to the National Weather Service tomorrow the winds in the west will initially be variable 2 to 4 and will gradually blow west northwest 4 to 5 Beaufort.
In the east, winds will blow from north directions 4 to 6 and in the Aegean locally 7 Beaufort.
The temperature will rise further on Monday. On Tuesday, the mercury is expected to exceed 40 degrees Celsius in places. The temperature will reach the western 38 to 40 and locally the continental 41 degrees.
The first breath is expected late on Wednesday and the weather will cool down from Thursday when, as predicted by the National Weather Service, the temperature will drop slightly in the east.
