The weather forecast for this one Monday, September 12, 2022 indicates that a frontal system will remain very close to the northern border of the country and its associated air mass will continue to affect the slope of the Gulf of Mexico, reinforcing the probability of rainy in the east and southeast of the country.
A low pressure channel over the southeast of the Mexican republic and the Yucatan Peninsula and the proximity of the monsoon trough to the coasts of the Mexican South Pacific, will produce punctual torrential rains in areas of Chiapas and Tabasco.
In the same way, rains are expected punctual intense in Guerrero, Oaxaca, Veracruz, Campeche and Yucatan; punctual very strong in Puebla and strong punctual rains in Quintana Roo; likewise, a northerly component wind is forecast with gusts of up to 50 km/h on the coast of Tamaulipas and Veracruzin addition to the Isthmus and Gulf of Tehuantepec.
Another channel of low pressure in the northwest, west and center of the national territory, in combination with the entry of moisture from the Pacific Ocean and instability at high levels of the atmosphere, will cause heavy punctual rains in Sonora, Nayarit, Jalisco, Colima, MichoacanState of Mexico and Morelosas well as chubascos in Chihuahua, Durango, Sinaloa, Mexico City y Tlaxcala.
