ON Saturday (6/7) the Jabodetabek area was evenly showered with rain throughout the day. The intensity of the rain will continue until tomorrow, Sunday (7/7).
The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) reported that a cyclonic circulation was monitored in the Indian Ocean west of Bengkulu, forming a convergence area extending from Banten to the Indian Ocean south of Sumatra.
Another convergence area extends from Southeast Sulawesi to West Sulawesi from Maluku to the Maluku Sea and from mountainous Papua to West Papua.
Meanwhile, the confluence area extends across the southern Indian Ocean of Sumatra and the South China Sea. These conditions can increase the potential for rain cloud growth around cyclonic circulation and along the convergence or confluence area.
