The weather will be relatively mild during the weekend but showers are however to be expected, announces the Royal Meteorological Institute.
Today, the day will begin with large embellishments, then the clouds will slowly rise from the south of the country. In the followingnoon, a few showers will occur in places, especially in the Ardennes and in regions close to France. It will be very mild with highs of 15 to 17 degrees in the Ardennes, and 18 to 20 degrees in the other regions. The wind will be moderate from the eastern sector, by the sea and on the heights of the Ardennes, sometimes quite strong with peaks of 50 km/h.
This evening and during the night, the sky will be partly to sometimes very cloudy with always the possibility of a few showers over the south of the country. Temperatures will drop to between 6 degrees in the upper Ardennes and 11 degrees in the west of the country.
Sunday, the clouds will be more numerous over the southern half of the country with the possibility of a few showers in these regions. In Flanders, the sun should be more generous. The maximum will vary between 14 degrees by the sea and in Haute Ardenne, and 18 or 19 degrees in Flanders.
Early next week, the weather will be cooler and more unstable Monday with a greater risk of showers. Mardidrier weather will return with occasional sunshine.
