The Meteorological Authority revealed the continuation of the severe drop in temperatures, with cold weather prevailing during the day in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt and the northern coasts, and the weather in northern Upper Egypt tending to cold and warm over southern Sinai and southern Upper Egypt, very cold throughout.
Meteorologists expected unstable weather conditions and chances of rain this week on areas of the northwestern coast and northern Lower Egypt.
Winds are active in areas of the northern coasts, southern Sinai, and the south of the country.
It is expected that temperatures will drop in Egypt to record 17 degrees on Sunday during daylight hours, and very cold weather will prevail at night.

Meteorologists expect light rains of regarding 30% to fall on areas of the northwestern coast and northern Lower Egypt at intermittent periods.
Winds are active in areas of southern Sinai and the south of the country at intermittent periods.
