Weather, everything changes. When the “storm disturbance” arrives – Time

Will high pressure soon be a distant memory? This is the question that attracts the interest of Italians more than others, already ready to forget the umbrella and put their swimsuits in their bag. Starting from Tuesday, a disturbance will arrive in Italy which will bring precipitation back to dominate the weather forecasts. “Our country is currently still under the influence of an anticyclonic promontory of African origin (Narcissus), which is guaranteeing decidedly stable weather conditions, characterized by clear skies and unusual temperatures for the period, with temperature peaks almost summer”: is the premise of the de team ilmeteo.it. However, a change of pace is on the horizon. In fact, between Tuesday 9th and Wednesday 10th, a “storm disturbance” will arrive.

Weather-change: storms and hail, the two key days then the twist

Which regions will be affected by bad weather? From Tuesday “an Atlantic disturbance, driven by a cyclonic vortex forming on the Ligurian Sea, will impact the northern regions causing a gradual worsening of the weather starting from Valle d’Aosta and Piedmont where the first rainfall is expected”: this is the meteorologist’s response Antonio Sanò. The rest of the North “will remain waiting, as will Tuscany”. Wednesday, 10am, then. “the disturbance will affect the North with greater intensity, with thunderstorms, possible hailstorms and strong gusts of wind which will especially strongly affect Lombardy, including the city of Milan”. Precipitation “will also affect Emilia, the Dolomites and western Veneto (especially the Garda area). Increasing clouds over the rest of Italy, but without particular phenomena except for some in Tuscany and Sardinia”.
