In the month just ended the decline is fairly uniform for all segments. Motorcycle registrations were 17,431 (-4.09%), scooters recording a decline of 6.36% equal to 16,704 units and mopeds losing 5.04% and recording 1,470 units sold. Looking at the trend of the first three months of the year, the overall stability of the motor vehicle market is highlighted thanks to a +3.08% equal to 85,113 new vehicles put on the road. Scooters lead the ranking with a performance of 3.64% and 41,329 units, followed by motorbikes which grow by 2.93% and register 40,067 vehicles and mopeds close, which decrease by 1.22% for a total of 3,717 vehicles sign in.
The electric vehicle segment is a little more resilient: in March 1,065 vehicles were sold with a -3.01%. Mopeds contributed above all to the stability of volumes which, also thanks to an order, grew by 32.02%, with 503 units. The decline in scooters is more significant, losing 24.16 percentage points and registering 518 vehicles; On the other hand, the performance of motorcycles was good with 44 units sold in March and a growth of 29.41%. The cumulative annual figure is still in negative territory, with a drop of 24.36% for a total of 2,124 units sold.
